It seems a little chilly/drafty in here. Is the air conditioning turned way up? You could save some energy with a warmer library.

It IS chilly in here! We are in the midst of replacing the outdated controls for the heating and cooling system, and we're having trouble maintaining the building at the proper temperature during that process. Our maintenance staff are doing their best to adjust the building temperature as the outside temperature changes, but we won't really have full control again until the installation of the new control system is complete. It should be up and running by mid-June, and then we'll be able to maintain the temperature at a level that's more comfortable and energy efficient. In the meantime, we apologize for the chilliness - please bear with us!
